what is the best workout equipment?

what is better? an exercise bike, treadmill or an ellpitical trainer? (i think is what its called?) anyway – i dont have a lot of space. and im just looking for something i can put infront of the tv.
i need to burn fat and tone up my muscles. whats the best?

I had the same question a few years ago prior to beginning my weight loss program. After much research I purchased a treadmill. It turned out to be the best decision of my life.

I run about 1,000 miles per year on it and have lost 35 pounds.

    personally i’d say none and buy yourself a bench with a barbell and some plates, they would be far more effective as you will not only improve body composition you can also improve cardiovascualr endurance as well.

    If you really have to get one of those I’d get an eliptical. Running and biking is much better done outside.

    try trampoline. my dietician swears by it. you get mini-foldable ones too. (Check the reboundair site) 15 min (or 5 min of sprinting) on a tramp = 30 min on a treadmill. + a whole lot of other benefits too.http://ezinearticles.com/?Trampoline-As-a-Therapeutic-Device&id=128708. start slow and then work your way towards sprinting.
