All you need to do is do lots of running. Start at something light such as maybe a miler or so and just work up. I've been running for a while now on top of soccer and I have huge calves. You may also want to ride a bike or do squats with maybe a back pack on. This can build up your thighs a lot. By standing on a door frame with your toes, you can go up and down, do lots of reps of this and it will build your calf muscle up a sizeable amount. But the best way would be to just run, doing hills will also build your calves really well and running really increases your stamina and lung capacity on top of muscle building. =)
References :
Experience

Hi,
This may not sound like a great way but if you start to ride a bike( even a excersize bike, i prefer a normal bike as i get to see the senary) every day it is surprising good at building up your legs.
Try It!
Hope this helps!
References :
Self experience!
