It depends on the equipment. Some is lighter than others. They are always finding new materials to make lighter but still effective padding and helmets. You won’t know until you put on whatever your team is wearing.

A helmet, standard shoulder pads, shin guards, thigh guards and girdle weigh about 11 pounds. Some like a line man’s shoulder pads weigh a good deal more or a kicker’s weigh a lot less. But 11-12 pounds is about the norm.

It depends on your equiptment stlyle
but uasually from 10-18 pounds in middle school and 15-25 anywhere else
