Home Fitness Training With Cari Ham and Julieanna Hever …

March 9th, 2010

Muscle Integration – the key to getting a great workout! That is the message from Cari Ham http://www.fitnesstrainingbyjon.com and Julieanna Hever http://www.toyourhealthnutrition.com. This is part 3 in a series of home fitness routines that you can do without using any equipment at all! This is Part 4 in the series by Cari http://www.fitnesstrainingbyjon.com and Julieanna http://www.plantbaseddietitian.com. When I begin working with a client in their home, the first piece of equipment I tell them to buy is a Swiss ball or Stability Ball. The presence of the Swiss Ball is everywhere. We find them in large public gyms, private personal training studios, physical therapy offices, corporate board rooms, etc. There are many great benefits of making a stability ball Part of your fitness/exercise routine. It is great for your core, balance, stability and is fun! The stability ball is also versatile and adds some variety into your fitness and exercise routine.

Resolution: Lose Weight And Get In Shape!

March 6th, 2010

Posted by admin in fitness equipment | 25 Comments »

Get in Shape! A great new years resolution.

People spend hundreds of millions of dollars buying gym memberships and fitness equipment this time of year in preparation for their new years resolutions but you dont have to. Getting in shape doesnt require money, just knowledge and dedication and this video will put you on the road to fitness.

In this video I will show you how to achieve your new years resolution of losing weight and getting stronger with a simple 30 minute home workout. This video assumes that you have no experience with fitness or weightlifting so dont worry, we are not going to use any intimidating equipment. You will feel better and have more energy after your very first workout!

OK, now for our workout, there are only three exercises – crunches for abs, pushups for chest, shoulders and triceps, and pullups for lats and biceps. And dont worry, if you cant do a single pushup or pullup I will show you how you can get started and build up your strength. This workout is for everyone, no matter how out of shape you are. You probably did these three exercises back in PE as a kid, but I’m going to show you how to do them correctly so you dont get injured.

On Monday/Wednesday/Friday do 15 minutes of cardio and this 15 minute workout. On the other four days of the week, do 30 minutes of cardio.

Here are some in-depth videos if you want more information on any of the following subjects:

Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn’t have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money. A cheap dumbbell set from a garage sale or walmart is all it takes to get started with your home workouts.

Total Body Warmup & Interval Training Workout With No Equipment

February 16th, 2010

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!!
http://www.turbulencetraining.com

I’m here at the park where I’m going to do my interval training and bodyweight exercises. Today I’m going to show you some fun stuff to do without a single piece of equipment. All I’m going to do are some dynamic stretches and bodyweight movements.

First, start with high-knee runs and return with butt kicks. Next move down and back going side to side while squatting. Follow that up with elbow to instep lunges followed by inchworms.

The next exercises you can do are duck-unders and step overs. Both of these are great if your hips are tight. These 2 exercises will really loosen them up.

Next, I want to slowly make my way into some hard sprints with the first 2 being on an intensity level of a 6 out of a 10. After that, you will sprint at a 9 out of a 10 (about 25 seconds). After you are done with your sprints, you will want to do a bodyweight exercise of 20 pushups. Rest about 20 seconds and repeat the sprints. This time you can do prisoner lunges. Rest 20 seconds and sprint again and back down into a plank position. Run a sprint again and back and then move down into a side plank.

I like to mix it up with a side movement down and back. Follow this up with some more pushups or close grip pushups. Any type of agility patterns with some bodyweight exercises will work. No need for any equipment, just lots of fresh air!
