What’s your favorite piece of exercise equipment?

I’m looking for a good piece of exercise equipment to tone the mid-lower body. The areas I want to work on are the stomach, butt, hips, and thighs.

Just curious as to what would be good for this and what your favorite type of equipment is and why.

Thanks

Eliptical all the way. I would have a different opinion for a man. A man really should go for a bowflex…which is also great for women(dont get the knock off) It must be a bowflex.Oh and if you get an eliptical get the one w/ handles that take your bpm and an adjustable incline. I love mine, I am now able to burn about 280 cals in a half-hour-and still getting better.

P90X dvds and Independent Achievement Productions exercise download…it’s the best at getting me moving all the time, without it seeming a chore.

My favorite equip. is the quad-machine – it has best of all features…. prob. a local college or rec. center would have one to use…

An exercise ball. I get as much benefit from that as I do with all the equipment I use at the gym. It can really do a good job on the areas you’re talking about. If you buy one it usually comes with instructions on how to do various exercises and sometimes it comes with a DVD.

You only need a standard 45lb olympic weight barbell and some weights to put on it.
Squats and the different variations of the squat will work your stomach, butt, hips and thighs.
1 bar and about 300lbs worth of weight are my favorite equipment.
