ways to gain leg muscle without weight lifting?

March 4th, 2010

I need an exercise that will gain me muscle mass fast on my legs calves, thigh,& hamstrings ,my arms are still sore from weight lifting from the prevous 2 days so i need an exercise for my legs that do not require my arms or expensive equipment just myself

All you need to do is do lots of running. Start at something light such as maybe a miler or so and just work up. I’ve been running for a while now on top of soccer and I have huge calves. You may also want to ride a bike or do squats with maybe a back pack on. This can build up your thighs a lot. By standing on a door frame with your toes, you can go up and down, do lots of reps of this and it will build your calf muscle up a sizeable amount. But the best way would be to just run, doing hills will also build your calves really well and running really increases your stamina and lung capacity on top of muscle building. =)

How a semi skinny guy can get muscly in a short amount of time?

March 2nd, 2010

I’m almost 18 and weigh about 130. I don’t have access to fancy weight equipment, or really any weight lifting equipment at all. but if anybody has any tips I’d love to hear them! thanks!

If you want to get "muscly" in a short amount of time i suggest steroids, but many people will get mad at me for saying that.

The next best way is hard work and eating right, try looking around this site, as this guy knows what he’s talking about.

Best Fitness Equipment for fastest weight loss?

February 28th, 2010

What’s the best Cardio Equipment that can help you loose weight fastest (i Can’t do weight lifting stuff I’m under 18 )

Any piece of equipment that increases your heart rate and gets you sweating is good. Cardio is designed to burn calories, so whatever one makes you work hardest is the one I would go for.

You don’t even need equipment to get a good cardio workout done. Strap on your running shoes and go for a jog/run. This is the most effective way to get an allover body workout and burn heaps of calories.

This following website gives you the tools you need to develop a healthy lifestyle and maintain it for a lifetime.

Good luck and all the best with your weight loss goals

Exercise Breaks for weight lifting and for cardio?

February 26th, 2010

Since I’m out of college, I’m trying to get my self back into shape.
I joined a gym awhile back and now I can use a lot more equipment to work out with.
I was always told that when I’m lifting weights, that I should take a day off from weight lifting to let me my muscles relax.
During those days off, I’m wanting to do some running.
Is this okay, or should I do cardio exercises when I lift weights?

Cardio is pretty flexible. You can do cardio with weightlifting or the next day after weightlifting but always take a day off from weightlifting so you don’t cause injury to your muscles.
