would i be better off getting a treadmill, or an eliptical or something else?

1st, it depends which machine you will like to use the most.

That said, a rowing machine provides the most capability to burn calories and get in shape at the same time. No other machine can help you burn 1000 calories an hour working the legs, glutes, abs, back, and arms as strongly.

If you are having fun on a machine, its not very likely to be burning many calories. Check out your heart rate on a few at a sporting good store.

Rowing, I can push my heart rate to 170 and above, and I’m 55 years old.

What is the total weight of most Police Officer’s safety equipment?

I am wondering what the total weight of a Police Officer’s safety equipment is. (Vest, duty belt, side arm, ammo, etc.) I am training to become a police officer and I want to buy a weight vest to start running in to get used to the extra weight, but I am unsure of the total weight. Thank you.

How do I gain weight via muscle mass without equipment?

At this time I have no exercise equipment. I have been exercising for about one year, but not solid, and I used to work out an avereage of 3-4 times a week at 1 hour intervals. Now I am wanting to gain some more weight. I am 6′ 3" and 166 lbs, and I am just 20 years of age. I’ve visited many of the websites out there, but I am looking for those extra boosts, and techniques. This is partly remotivational to get me back in the habit of exercising too. Where do I start, and how do I continue?

You can improve strength, endurance, and muscle tone without equipment……but to gain mass you need to lift weights.
Heavey weight with few reps per set and as heavy a weight as you can lift with good technique.

In other words the best way to reach your goal is to get some weights.

How To Instantly Increase Your Bench Press Strength

This is a killer trick that you can use to instantly increase your bench press strength your very next workout. All you have to do is perform a set of reverse dumbbell flyes (aka bent over dumbbell raises) in between each set of bench presses. What this will do is take some of the blood and lactic acid build up from your chest and front delts and put it into your rear delts and upper back. This allows you to feel stronger under the bar and actually bench more reps and/or lift more weight then you could if you did not perform the reverse dumbbell flyes before each set of benches.

body building anyone know any bicep exercises without using weight or equipment?

i hate using dumbells and barbells etc i prefer using my body weight to train but i recently moved into a new house and my pull up bar will not fit on any of the door frames as they are abnormally small, i really need to work my biceps can anyone help me please? im not looking to lose weight as i am 5′11 and i only weigh 11stone i just really need to find some bicep exercises.

Well there aren’t many effective bicep exercises without weight or equipment but you could try push ups and maybe dips (these will mostly focus on the chest though)

what exercises can i do for maximum weight loss without any equipment?
