Exercise bike where you are mainly just using your legs , treadmill, or elliptical
I have been going hard on the bikes at the gym but then someone told me it barely burns any calories that I should run on the treadmill? Is this true? Also is 20 mins of cardio at the gym 4 days a week plus 2 days of weights plus a 10-60 minute walk 7 days a week good exercise or should I be doing more to lose weight?
Dear friend, i think that any exercise its good for you if your are constant and have discipline, the equipment it is different ’cause it has different function it makes work different muscles. but you must combine the exercise with a good diet, a balanced one, to have the energy necessary that allow you do exercise and keep a good form.

Treadmill, Elliptical, then bike. In my opinion!

start swimming laps.
Its a lot tougher than it looks. It works like all the muscles and if you go fast it works cardio

None of that crap about exercise machines.
Your feet in a pair of trainers running outside, dancing and swimming pools are the best.
People use those machines every week and wonder why they don’t lose any weight – it’s because you need to burn more calories than you eat. But running, walking, swimming and dancing/aerobic exercise are the winners.

It’s true. I was biking a lot at the gym and not losing a pound. I switched to the treadmill and it literally just melted off.
To lose weight you need to be doing a lot more than 20 minutes, though. Your cardio should be more like 40 minutes.
