How should I be using the Workout equipment for the best results?

I’m trying to get a good work out. I go to a very small gym there isn’t a lot of work out machines. There is a treadmill, Bike, single weights, Weight machine. I’m trying to lose like 10 pounds in one month. I just need to know what kinds of workouts I should be doing. With these machines and how long I should be on them for the best results.

A really great workout is High Intensity Interval Training. It is done on a treadmill and what you do is sprint at about 10mph for 30 seconds, then jog at about 5mph for 90 seconds. Repeat this 10 times. It is a really good fat loss workout. Warm up for 5 mins before and do a 5 min cool down at the end. It’s a piece of exercise equipment that you hold with 2 hands, one over the other. It’s like a couple of gears that you put your hands in and you turn it around in a spinning manner.

I know that my description is very vague, but that’s all I could say. Sorry!
