What Are Excercises To Do At Home To Get A Six Pack Quickly When You Have No Work Out Equipment!?
June 29th, 2011
You can do all of the following without any equipment:
sit ups (you know the drill)
crunches (where you only come up part way in a sit up and keep your hands behind your head so as not to use them as momentum when you come up…it should really hurt when you get half way)
side to side sit ups (can do this two ways – as crunches where you keep one hand behind your head, and the other you stretch out diagonally across the opposite leg, then switch arms OR you can keep both hand behind head and twist your body so that you are facing sideways, alternating sides)
straight plank (lie face down on the floor, then come up straight lying on your forearms or elbows, then keeping your legs straight your feet on tip toes. your body should be off the floor, but paralell to it and your stomach muscles should be killing you after a short while)
good mornings ( lie flat, keep legs straight and toes pointed upwards, sit up all the way and kind of stretch into it)
knee ups (stand straight and jump, bringing your knees up as close to your chest as you can)
sit ups with legs up ( rest your legs up on a chair with your back on the floor and do sit ups that way)
If you want to work your biceps too you can use my brothers idea:
He made some really cheap but really effective weights using two empty milk cartons (about 3 Litres) and an old broom handle that he broke in half. He filled up each carton with sand and weighed it on our scales to equal about 5 kg each, then slipped the handle through the milk carton handles and voila: you have some weights. Fill them up to whatever the max weight is you can handle, but don’t over-do it!
Two girls and their father are always having fun. It is like Spring Break already! If we are not weight lifting in the fitness studio then we are rollerskating or jumping on the trampoline of bike riding to the park. We value our fun family time together and would never trade it for anything in the world. Many were asking why we have not been making as many videos lately and we have some explanations for that in our other video post.
